This article will help you request access to the Sage VPN as well as instruct you on how to connect to the VPN for the first time.
Here's how it's done
Request VPN access
The IT department requires all users wanting to use the VPN to fill out our VPN Access Request form. This form can be found here.
Log in with your Sage.edu account.
When filling out this form please make sure you are logged in under your Sage.edu account.

Once you have filled out the form an email notification will be sent to one of our Technicians. From there, the technician will add the proper access to your account and notify you that your account is good to go.
Download and install the VPN client on your computer
Once your account has been setup for VPN access you will need to download and install the VPN client.
Step 1: Head on over to https://vpn-t.sage.edu/ and log in with your Sage username (no @sage.edu required), and your password.
Please note, you will not be able to download the VPN client or connect to the VPN service while connected to the Sage network (This includes the Sage_Colleges, and Sage_Guest wireless networks).

Step 2: Choose the appropriate link for your computer (We only offer clients for MacOS and Windows based computers)

If you are trying to install the VPN client on a Sage owned Mac or Windows laptop you will always select the 64 bit installer.
Step 3: Install the application on your device

A new application called GlobalProtect will be installed. Additionally, the following icon will appear on your task/status bar. The red X indicates that you are not yet connected to the VPN service.
Launch the GlobalProtect VPN Client
Double click the application to start it. You will be prompted to enter in some additional information in order to connect to the VPN service.

Step 1: Enter in your Sage username (without the @sage.edu) and password, and select remember me.
Step 2: Enter in vpn-t.sage.edu as the portal.
Step 3: Hit Apply.
The client will attempt to connect to the VPN service using the credentials you entered in. If the client fails to connect please check that your credentials are accurate and that your account has been approved for VPN access. If successful, the GlobalProtect icon will display a shield in place of the red X.
