Using Classroom and Public Computers
The Sage Colleges offers the use of computers in our classrooms and libraries for our students. It is pertinent that students keep the following information in mind when using these computers.
Do not save any files, applications, or other important data on classroom or library computers. The IT Department has policies in place that delete files daily. This is meant to keep the classroom and library computers running smoothly.
Instead make sure to save any important data to a USB storage device, or Google Drive. We recommend using Google Drive for a few reasons. Whether you are on vacation, at home or in your dorm, Google Drive allows you to access your files and folders from anywhere including your mobile phone. Your files are stored through Google's cloud network. By accessing your Sage Google account, you have full access to everything you need. There is no need to worry about file conversions as Google Drive has the document, spreadsheet, power point and drawing apps you need so you can get to work no matter where you are.
Using your Sage Colleges email address allows you to store your data without having to worry about running out of space. Normal Gmail accounts (like a personal Gmail account) are limited to 15GB of storage. Using your Sage email address removes this limit.
