Forwarding Your Phone

Users can forward their own phones using the Xorcom portal. Every user has their own personalized link to access this portal. If they would like access to this link, they need to contact IT and have them generate a login and URL for them.

To generate this in Xorcom, pull up the user’s extension by either typing it in the search box or going to PBX > Extensions, then searching for it using the menu on the right. Once in the user’s extension information, click the Advanced tab, then use the “Generate and Send” button at the bottom next to Reset Portal Password. You can also manually enter a password in the box above it, if preferred. This will send the portal link and password to the email listed in the Email box.
