No internet connection

Check all cables to make sure the ethernet cable is plugged into the computer. If the computer is located in an office, it should be connected to the pass-through port on the user’s IP phone, and the LAN port on the phone should be connected to the wall. In some buildings, the phone may also need a power adapter connected to it. If the phone is not on, the network connection will not work.

On some older systems, there is a feature that turns off the Network Card during sleep mode, and will sometimes fail to reactivate it when the system wakes up. A simple reboot will fix this.

If the desktop computer has wi-fi capabilities, disable the wi-fi connection while the computer is plugged into an ethernet connection.

If no ethernet connection is available and the computer has wi-fi capabilities, make sure the user is connected to the Sage_Colleges network using their current Sage username and password.
